BACKGROUND
eading manager at a start-up, co-founder of TKRAMREPUS foundation, L&D consultant, trainer.

We are for real
My goal during training is to create an environment where everyone can be honest and authentic. First to themselves, but also to others. In collaborations, sometimes little time is taken to reflect or give each other feedback. As Cruijff aptly said, "Often something has to happen before something happens." Being honest and expressing what is going on creates space for real conversations and valuable learning moments - moments that enable growth. To achieve this setting, I lead by example myself. I present myself to the group openly and honestly, with enthusiasm, but also with discomfort or sharing my own failures.
We are of the wall
I grew up in a courtyard where my mother was the caretaker. Together with ten female students, my brother and my father, we lived on one of the busiest streets in Amsterdam. When I tell people this, they often ask if it wasn't incredibly chaotic. For me, it felt normal - and above all incredibly cosy. Living in the courtyard may have been a bit unusual, but I learned from day one to live and work as part of a team!
We innovate for tomorrow
During my studies, I started working at a start-up and co-founded the TKRAMREPUS foundation. This is an upside-down supermarket for the Food Bank, where you can't buy anything, but only donate. As with TKRAMREPUS, I like to think in reverse. I like to look at situations from a different perspective to arrive at new insights. This is reflected in my approach as a trainer. PS: TKRAMREPUS still exists and you can still donate stuff there
We float like a butterfly and sting like a bee
I connect easily and know how to quickly create an open atmosphere. I used to find confrontations sometimes uncomfortable or awkward and preferred to avoid them. But I have learned that these very moments, if functional and in a safe setting, can be the most valuable and instructive. Therefore, I now embrace them and make them a powerful part of my programmes.
We score without compromises
I believe that the environment you or your team are in plays a crucial role in behavioural change. From the intake until after the programme, I make sure that the work context always has an important place. Because while change starts with insight, unfortunately it often stops there. To ensure that change actually happens, I emphasise implementation on the shop floor - sometimes to the point of irritation!
