Nestlé Leadership Adventure Program (LEAP)

The Leadership Adventure Programme is a programme for new leaders within Nestlé. Starting in the role of people manager, participants embark on 'the adventurer's journey', a programme entirely focused on strengthening leadership skills. In this leadership programme, managers are challenged, together with Mind Work Productions, to leave the known world - or comfort zone - for the unknown world: the adventure zone. Because further developing yourself as a leader is not done without a struggle. No doubt you will encounter bears on your journey. Internally, you will encounter your own resistance and emotions, but externally, you will also encounter the necessary challenges. Together with their change agents, they walk 'the road of trial', facing their personal challenges together and learning to defeat their own dragons. The adventurer's journey aims to ensure that the participants are equal to the special task they are about to undertake: the beautiful role of people manager within Nestlé.

I am very enthusiastic about the way we work with MWP, it really is co-production, is not just about selling, but about building a sustainable relationship together. We recently had an intervision session with all trainers from de Bijenkorf and MWP and it really feels like colleagues, and in doing so we really go beyond politeness, always with the idea of making each other better. In addition, you really relate to you, you are real people and you expose yourselves, you never do a trainer trick. I also notice that I like the fact that it really goes beyond the programme we make. In ideas and thinking further, but also that you bring us into contact with other organisations, so we learn from each other again.

An investment in the future of the company, is how Moos Stafleu describes the Management Development Programme that Talpa Media recently launched in collaboration with Mind Work Productions. Moos is Manager Human Resources at the media company and knows how important it is as an organisation to facilitate personal growth: "We are increasingly moving away from the classic model as it used to be; the boss tells you how to do it and that's it. Today's generations are much more empowered and dare to indicate where their needs lie. That need came out clearly in our employee survey in 2017. Partly because of this, we made the choice to adjust our management style from High Demanding to High Performance. We launched Talpa Academy with practical workshops, technical workshops, coaching and internal training. Recently, we added a Management Development Programme, mainly for our young executives within Talpa Productions (executive producers, production managers, editors-in-chief and final editors)."

Manager Talent Development A.I.

Together with Mind Work Productions, we revamped our management traineeship a few years ago. They have been running the programme ever since. This consists of three training weeks focusing on personal leadership, leadership skills, and a real-time business case. Between the training weeks, there is also individual coaching. They are also our sparring partner to evaluate and innovate the programme. This way, we challenge each other to continuously improve the programme. And we dare to set up exciting and creative intervisions to challenge the trainees to the max. The combination of the challenging and confronting training courses, the personal coaching, the depth and the co-creation, makes our cooperation very good and pleasant.
