Rituals advanced leadership programme

Growth towards inspirational leadership

The Advanced Leadership Programme is a customised talent leadership programme for mid-level leaders from Rituals primarily focused on leadership development. This programme is designed for leaders with 5 - 15 years of work experience. Their main challenge is to lead their team in a fast-growing organisation. Through the programme, they learn to get out of the substantive details so that they have time to take their team (results) to the next level, and prepare the organisation for the future. They gain insight into themselves and learn to use their talents to make an impact on team performance and team members. They improve their leadership styles and learn to translate the organisational vision into a clear team strategy. They also learn to recognise key patterns in the business and improve their peers and senior management efficiently and timely to address non-functional patterns.

Prior to implementation, a design phase involved designing the programme in co-creation with Rituals. First, stakeholders from the organisation, such as HR (business partners), board-members, senior management and potential participants, were interviewed about the wishes and goals for the programme. This information was the input for a series of design sessions in which we shaped a common thread and interventions based on the set goals and preconditions.

After this, a pilot programme was launched. After extensive evaluation, the programme was adapted into the current programme which is run with several groups. MWP facilitates the sessions and project management for this programme. This programme is also evaluated at fixed intervals to continuously improve the programme. 

The programme is divided into roughly three main topics: be an authentic leaderempower your team to grow, and impact the organisation. Interventions are offered at three different levels, think modules with the whole group, peer review, working on a business case in small groups, personal coaching and a leadership styleassessment. 

Through the Advanced Leadership Programme, Rituals' mid-level leaders are better able to align their leadership style with their team and the wider organisation. They have grown in self-insight and learn to translate the organisational vision into a concrete team strategy, allowing them to better guide their team towards the desired results.
