Ordina's young professional programme as a springboard for success.
At Ordina, the future of young talent is a top priority. Every year, a new batch of around 100 ambitious young professionals embark on a challenging two-year programme designed to not only enhance their subject matter knowledge, but also develop their personal and professional skills. This all-encompassing programme, a co-production with Mind Work Productions, has proven to be a successful incubator for professionals within Ordina since 2019.
The Young Professional programme starts with a personal intake meeting where the participant, coach and manager together set development goals, allowing the young professional to take control of his own learning path. This path consists of a combination of group training and practical assignments, such as the 'yuck' experiment where participants are challenged to go out of their comfort zone and then reflect in a personal vlog.
The programme links personal development with consultancy skills, allowing participants not only to understand their own capabilities and aspirations, but also to learn how to use their influence effectively in their interactions with others.
By powerfully conveying Ordina's story and mission, the young professionals become ambassadors of the organisation.
A final interview is scheduled at the end of the programme to discuss progress and set future learning goals, with options for further specialisation through elective modules or individual coaching. In this way, the young professionals continue to develop beyond the programme, supported by Ordina's vision of continuous learning.
