Meet:
Faroshia Bergraaf
Trainer
BACKGROUND
Trained as a management consultant, behaviour and emotions as a training specialisation

We are for real
The reason I became a trainer after a successful career in consultancy is that I am in favour of real application of theory. So I prefer to help people with 'how do I do'. I needed to be honest with myself and discover what I was missing. Instead of giving 'advice' (from the 'sidelines') on what to do, I now stand in front of the group as 'myself', show you what you can do and stand beside you to discover what works for you, in your environment.
We are of the wall
A calm, thoughtful father combined with a flamboyant, charismatic mother, two wonderfully different sisters, that is the family I come from. As the eldest of the family, I am 'right in the middle', I can be the voice of reason; the rock in the surf, in the middle of the storm, or the party starter, depending on the situation and of course the crowd. My training sessions are therefore recognisable by their solid and well-founded basis, as well as being full of interaction and fun.
We innovate for tomorrow
When I started as an entrepreneur, I promised myself that I would invest in my personal development every year. I have managed to do that every year, whether it is marketing, sales, behaviour/psychology, finance or deepening in my own field, I am addicted to learning and developing!
We float like a butterfly and sting like a bee
One of the best compliments I ever received about my work is that I pay a lot of attention to creating a safe atmosphere. Within that safe atmosphere, I can touch people where necessary, sometimes with the necessary sharpness, to help them move forward in the direction in which they want to grow.
We score without compromises
For me, quality is number one; I do not compromise on that. What I deliver must be good, because in doing so I attribute value to those I deliver to. Evaluations and regular check-ins are a lifeline. If something is not up to standard, you can go back to the drawing board and improve. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I did something with quality management in a grey past....
