We are for real
These are among my personally most important values and therefore I use them daily within my work as a trainer and coach. For instance, I often share my own story and can use my own weaknesses to make participants in a training session feel at ease. An example is the fact that I myself am a very big chaotic person but can facilitate a topic like time/self management very well through my numerous personal examples and lessons.
We are of the wall
I often make my choices on intuition and these do not always seem logical in the eyes of others. For instance, I grew up in Amsterdam and was almost the only one of my friends to choose to study in Groningen. I also went to study economics where my father later characterised me as the only economist without any understanding of money. Now I am still considering studying psychology, because this subject interests me immensely.
We innovate for tomorrow
Besides investing in my own development every year through a training or coaching programme, my career at MWP describes this well. I got to know MWP as a client, where the co-creation process enthused me so much that it made me want to work there myself. Through a role within the sales team, I discovered that my heart really did lie with the trainer and coach profession, and I am still grateful for the opportunity MWP gave me in this. After several years of working as a coach and trainer, the next opportunity came along, the role of change agent, where I am currently taking further steps in my development.
We float like a butterfly and sting like a bee
For me, this means ensuring connection, which is the most important basis and from there I can honestly mirror what I see. I am always good-humoured, which helps me create a pleasant atmosphere, where there is precisely room for confrontation. And confrontation is certainly not always fun, but it is essential if you want to grow.
We score without compromises
I regularly throw the entire script while facilitating a training session to create as much impact as possible for participants and clients out of the drive. I find connecting with client and group/individual I work with essential and often get back that I have good feelers for this.
