BACKGROUND
Learning & Development, Management Traineeship

We are for real
After a management traineeship and various roles in project management, I noticed that the human side - in change - was often underexposed. While I find that side the most important. Therefore, I decided to be honest with myself and not to choose the safe path, but to confidently face the unknown by leaving that role. My goal became to create awareness and support others in reaching their full potential.
We are of the wall
I am better at remembering someone's facial expression and posture than I am at remembering someone's name.
We innovate for tomorrow
Furthermore, I have something recalcitrant in me. When I notice that I am doing something because it is the way it should be or because it is always the way it is, I feel the urge to investigate whether I really want this. I like to give it my own twist, find new angles or look for a creative alternative. This is reflected in the training I give, but also in the way I shape my own life. And because I work with different target groups - children, people in need, refugees and (young) professionals - I can combine best practices for each target group. Such as providing playful assignments, experiential exercises or creative experiences like working with headphones.
We float like a butterfly and sting like a bee
I have the ability to quickly sense what others' comfort zone and social norms are. And I get energy from challenging those social norms and expanding the comfort zone. How do I do that? By first moving with the other person and then being especially disarming, showing vulnerability and asking stimulating questions.
We score without compromises
When I step in somewhere, I do so with full attention and energy. However, my personal prerequisite for a fine collaboration is that the other person shows respect for both fellow human beings and the process, and takes ownership where necessary.
