BACKGROUND
HR professional, coach, trainer and nutritionist

We are for real
I integrate my own development, vulnerability and life path in contact with others to connect. This is who I am and how I shape my working life. There is nothing more liberating and enriching than when you meet at a deeper layer by being open and honest. Sometimes I share my own experiences to help someone along the way, sometimes it is the recognition that is needed. It is from this equality, openness and vulnerability (with the necessary self-mockery) that I work as a trainer and coach.
We are of the wall
At the age of 19, I decided to come to the Netherlands as an au-pair, leaving behind my familiar life in Finland. Not knowing that I would never return to live there again. I have since lived more than half my life in the Randstad. Trading an island on the Finnish coast for a life in the Randstad has shaped me. Sometimes it feels lonely, sometimes liberating. I learned how important strong friendships and relationships are to rebuild a life. As a trainer and coach, this has enabled me to connect and build relationships quickly.
We innovate for tomorrow
After turning 40, I finally got rid of a deep-seated fear of speaking in front of groups. Thanks to my drive to keep discovering and developing myself, I finally succeeded. With the help of inspiring people and the knowledge, research and methods developed in the field of personal development, continuing to seek out and try new things until the right result is achieved is something I stand for.
We float like a butterfly and sting like a bee
I consider it my role as a trainer and coach to create a setting that is safe. Here too, sharing my own vulnerability is important. From this setting, I can hold up a mirror knowing that it can sometimes be confrontational for the other person. Without friction no shine.
We score without compromises
Compromise for me is balancing what is good for the other person, but also staying true to myself. This remains a quest. What I don't compromise on is when, in the sessions I supervise, issues that are crucial to creating a desired movement or outcome are not voiced. With tact and respect, I also name the most difficult issues to get to the heart of the matter.
